“Learn to light a candle in the darkest moments of someone’s life. Be the light that helps others see; it is what gives life its deepest significance.” – Roy T. Bennet

Liar (Pinocchio)

you say you love to be misunderstood

i could do that for you now

cuz i’m tired of the honesty

that you like to live without

you’ve way more faces than the moon

and the man there wants to know

out of curiosity what’s the point

of hiding out below

You’re a liar

You’re nose is looking longer than it ever should

You’ve tried to cut it off but it’s made of wood

And it gets a little harder with each falsehood

So it grows back out again

you’ve never put me off so blatantly

you’re scared of what i ask

there’s a funny little thing called reality

bound to pull you back on track

down on your luck with acquaintances

you’re more than slightly sad

i never like to say i told you so

but it’s your fault your life’s like that

You’re a liar

Your nose is looking longer than it ever should

You’ve tried to cut it off but it’s made of wood

And it gets a little harder with each falsehood

So it grows back out again

sometimes i wonder what it’d be like

living a white lie

i pity all those

living their white lies

You’re a liar

Your nose is looking longer with each falsehood

You’ve tried to cut it off but it’s made of wood

And it gets a little harder with each falsehood

So it grows back out again

Liar
