“Learn to light a candle in the darkest moments of someone’s life. Be the light that helps others see; it is what gives life its deepest significance.” – Roy T. Bennet

Safety Precautions

Everyone knows the sky can be predicted

And the strangeness of a stranger can disappear

And the taste of a whisper upon your lips

Is bittersweet like a promise that binds a sin

You can always tell a man

By the contents of the briefcase in his hand

Or the weapon in his pocket

He pretends to hold but you know he doesn’t have

But what you see has nothing to do

With a secret to sell or defiance of utmost truth

Because all you need are safety precautions

As you do your time in a dangerous atmosphere
