“Learn to light a candle in the darkest moments of someone’s life. Be the light that helps others see; it is what gives life its deepest significance.” – Roy T. Bennet

Outcast

take a cup

and join the fun

drown yourself in

all the pressure

takes its toll on

what you are

you’ll even say a

prayer

but words don’t mean a thing

when you don’t believe in what

you’re dreaming of

you are watching from the outskirts

one foot in

the other out

you could follow

you could even be

the leader of

the messes of the day

but what would you become

what no one wants

when no one

cares

words don’t mean a thing

when you don’t believe in what

you’re dreaming of

you are watching from the outskirts

one foot in

the other out

what are you waiting for

the waters don’t part anymore

it’s either stay or

go

words don’t mean a thing

when you don’t believe in what

you’re dreaming of

you are watching from the outskirts

one foot in

the other out…
