“Learn to light a candle in the darkest moments of someone’s life. Be the light that helps others see; it is what gives life its deepest significance.” – Roy T. Bennet

Alfred is the bird that flew away too quickly

He doesn’t have the strength to fly away correctly

His wings are slightly weak

And one eye doesn’t open

But Alfred likes to wiggle like a seal on the ocean

He scoots across the brittle grass

And over all the sidewalk cracks

He even tried to climb a tree once

I’ve no idea why

But with strong determination he went up fast
